I’ve always believed that each and every one of us should have a happy home that supports us. Interior design shouldn’t be roped off for the super rich and elite, and it certainly shouldn’t cost ridiculous amounts of money to build a happy home. EDIT teaches you to own/buy only the things that bring you joy, whilst recycling, donating or selling the items that don’t. I cut the B.S.!
So I’m very happy to announce that from today I’m becoming part of Decology – a new online platform providing a virtual interior design service to home and business owners across the UK. This platform makes interior design affordable and accessible.
Decology works with 4 simples steps:
- First you tell us about yourself – lifestyle, budget, dreams, inspiration and vision.
- Then you choose your designer – there are different levels and styles of designer, so you can pick what’s best for you.
- Your designer will get to work, collaborating with you online, to get your interior just how you want it. Once you’re happy, you’ll be provided with a final room plan, a visualisation board and a styling guide.
- Finally a shopping list of all the items in your design will then be available in your room page. You can shop the whole look, or pick and choose your favourite pieces.
Listen up all you London folk – we’re in the technology section of The Metro today, so have a little read on the tube.

It’s so exciting that interior design can be done entirely online – it’s time to embrace the ease that the virtual world can give us.
